RIVALS Maps

A practical map catalog covering the six locations in our July 27 review, with sightline and hazard notes for choosing a loadout.

Quick answer

What matters in a match

Treat each map as a set of sightlines, cover transitions and hazards—not as a promise that one weapon always wins. Arena is the clearest learning space; Bridge and Onyx punish careless positioning; Crossroads and Docks open longer angles; Station mixes interiors with extended lines of fire.

Vertical / lava hazards

Onyx

Mixed / interiors

Station

Interiors, trains and longer sightlines ask a loadout to handle both tight and open fights.

Tight maps

Bridge and the enclosed parts of Station increase the chance of sudden close fights. Burst pressure, disruption and area control can help, but stacking every slot for close range leaves you exposed when the route opens. Keep a dependable mid-range answer.

Open maps

Crossroads and Docks create more time for precision and long sightlines. Move between cover instead of standing in the open, and carry a Secondary, Melee or Utility option that helps when an opponent reaches your position.

Hazard-heavy maps

Onyx and Bridge make the environment part of the duel. Movement and repositioning can be more useful than doubling down on raw pressure. A defensive or vision-control choice can buy the moment needed to avoid lava, water or an edge.

Mixed maps

Station changes character as you move between interior cover, trains and longer lanes. Balanced setups are easier to adapt, while a specialist setup needs a clear route plan. Use the loadout builder to compare missing roles before queueing.
